Food is one of the essential body need to conduct its daily activities. If one fails to take food the health of the individual is likely to decline, Bellow is some of the benefit of food in our bodies:

Food in our bodies helps our cell to perform their role accordingly. Some of the cells in our bodies such as white blood cell are meant to fight diseases which are in or are about to get in our bodies. Therefore if we do not take proper and enough food they are likely not to perform their role thus exposing us to diseases which lead to reduced physical function.

Weight regulation.

A lot of weight in our bodies can sometimes be stressful most people’s will is to have an average body weight which can be maintained by having foods which serve the purpose. Taking food such as vegetables and fruits help us to keep perfect body weight.

Strong bodies.

Food rich in calcium is vital in our bodies. Calcium gives us healthy bones and teeth; it also slows bone loss which associated with getting old.

Vitamin D which mostly come from the sun and some of the food we eat helps our body to take in calcium which leads to a healthy and robust body.

Making of body organs.

Most of our body organs come from the protein we eat in our foods. We use energy for body growth, Development, and proper functioning. Therefore it is advisable peoples to take a diet rich in protein to avoid its deficiency in their body which will lead to slow growth of organs and poor body functioning.

Providing energy to our bodies

We need the power to work, think, to walk and do our daily activities. It is vital that we take enough food to supply our bodies with energy to serve all our needs. We get energy from the food we eat such as protein, carbohydrates and other kinds of food that we consume.
